Bishop Council Nedd II is the Diocesan Ordinary of the Chesapeake and Northeast. He is also Rector of St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Pine Grove Mills, Pennsylvania. Bishop Council holds a Ph.D. in Religion from St. Alcuin House Seminary, Blaine, Minnesota where he also serves as a Fellow in Canon Law and Liturgics. Additionally, Bishop Council heads a variety of ministries to the Kenyan, Sudanese and Ethiopian diaspora in the United States, and serves as a director or trustee of several national charitable and health related organizations.
Father Beauchamp (aka “Fr. B”) is the founding rector of Holy Trinity Parish. He came to Hillsdale with his wife Kathy and two children in 1988 from Dallas, Texas to serve in various Student Service capacities at Hillsdale College. One such capacity was College Chaplain. In 1990, Father Beauchamp helped found Holy Trinity Parish under authority of The Rt. Rev. H. Edwin Caudill and the Anglican Diocese of the Southwest (CAEB). Prior to his move to Hillsdale, Fr. B served various Episcopal parishes in Northwest and Northcentral Texas including service as Canon to the Cathedral Church of St. Matthew in Dallas, Texas where he was responsible for the founding of a large Hispanic congregation and an active inner-city ministry. In 2010, Father Beauchamp retired as Chaplain of Hillsdale College but continues to serve Hillsdale College as an academic mentor and Holy Trinity Parish as her Rector. Kathy continues to serve Hospice of Hillsdale County as Director of Volunteers. Father Beauchamp received his B.A. from California State University (1968), and his M.Div. from Nashotah House (1975). He was ordained to the diaconate in 1975, and to the priesthood in 1976 by The Rt. Rev. Willis Henton; Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas.
Deacon Stephen Hilgendorf came to Hillsdale from northeast Ohio as student at Hillsdale College. In 2010 he received his Bachelor of Arts cum laude with a double major in German and Religion. During his time as a student, Stephen began formally discerning a call to ministry in Holy Orders, and in the fall of 2011 he began his seminary studies at Nashotah House in Nashotah, Wisconsin. He received his Master of Divinity cum laude from Nashotah House in May 2014. On August 21, 2013, The Rt. Rev’d Council Nedd II ordained Stephen to the Sacred Order of Deacons. Stephen and his wife Hannah were joined in Holy Matrimony on October 25, 2013 in Fallon, Nevada. They are currently in residence in the parish.
